Metro Atlanta Real Estate Market Shows Signs of Improving

The real estate market in Metro Atlanta is starting to show signs of improvement as home sales and home prices seem to be on the upward swing.

And metro Atlanta real estate isn?t the only place that home prices and the real estate market are improving.

Areas in Florida, especially along the coastal regions such as Daytona, are also starting to see home prices and home total home sales starting to climb.

Of course, if you are real estate agent in Atlanta, you are hoping that the real estate marketing continues to trend in the upward position.

According to Mitch Kaminer, the Atlanta Board of Realtors President, real estate agents are starting to see better market conditions after so many years of a depressed real estate market in Atlanta.

According to the Atlanta Board of Realtors, metro area home sales are up 3.2% in July from one year ago with median home prices at $150,000 compared to $139,000 in July 2011.

Among the metro areas in Atlanta that are showing stronger gains in real estate sales and metro Atlanta home prices include Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and real estate in?Lawrenceville.
