Handsome billionaire crybaby Sean Parker says his life is a nightmare after a media?flap?about his $4.5 million wedding turning into an ecological disaster.
Instead of galavanting in a tropical honeymoon paradise as newlyweds, the Internet mogul and wife have become victims of public persecution, says Parker, whose other troubles include having to live up to Justin Timberlake?s over-the-top portrayal of him in Social Network.
Weep!
?Instead we are being spat upon by complete strangers while walking together on the street, cursed at by a waiter in a restaurant who had read bogus media reports about our wedding and told by complete strangers that we should get our divorce papers ready since our marriage clearly isn?t going to last,? Parker told the Guardian via email this week.
The former Facebook president married singer Alexandra Lenas earlier this month in a fantasy nerd dream ceremony off of California?s central coast on a wedding set featuring a Games of Throne-sy cottage, fake ruins, staircases, waterfalls and an expansive dance floor. Even the guests had custom-made outfits. To get an idea of what this magical display of Silicon Valley excess looks like, peep this?and this.
Unfortunately, the fairyland setup got built up around endangered redwoods and wildlife.
An environmental group summoned the cops and the California Coastal Commission to go after the tech mogul (which feels vaguely like coercion, but dude has money to spare). Parker relinquished $2.5 million in lieu of going to court. The ?donation? will pay for conservation efforts and a campground for underprivileged kids.
You can read the coastal commission transcripts of the hearing here.
